Kempton Park City SDA Church is a Christ-centered community rooted in Scripture, united in worship, and committed to serving God and humanity. We are part of the worldwide Seventh-day Adventist Church, sharing the everlasting gospel and preparing for the soon return of Jesus Christ.

As part of the worldwide Seventh-day Adventist Church, our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ who live as His loving witnesses and proclaim to all people the everlasting gospel of the Three Angels' Messages in preparation for His soon return.

Our Journey

Planting the Seeds
A small group of devoted believers began meeting in Kempton Park, united by faith and a desire to worship God together. Through prayer, fellowship, and commitment to God's Word, the foundation of what would become Kempton Park City SDA Church was laid.
Church Organization
The growing congregation was officially organized as a Seventh-day Adventist Church under the Trans-Orange Conference. This marked an important milestone, establishing structured leadership and formalizing the church's mission to serve the community and spread the gospel.
Growing in Ministry
During this period, the church experienced steady growth in both membership and ministry. Sabbath School, youth programs, evangelism, and community outreach initiatives were strengthened, reflecting a deepening commitment to service and discipleship.
Building for the Future
This season focused on strengthening leadership, expanding ministry capacity, and preparing the church for greater impact. The congregation continued to grow spiritually while aligning its vision with God's purpose for the community.
Growing Stronger
With renewed energy and vision, the church expanded its outreach efforts and embraced digital platforms to reach more people. Ministries were strengthened to better serve the East Rand community and support members in their spiritual journey.
Moving Forward in Faith
Today, Kempton Park City SDA Church continues to move forward in faith—committed to discipleship, community service, and proclaiming the everlasting gospel. Guided by God's Word, the church remains focused on preparing hearts for the soon return of Jesus Christ.
